The Memphinox approach

Ancient presence.
Modern making.

Memphinox brings sculptural sensibility together with contemporary digital production. The goal is not simply to print a shape — it is to preserve the character, proportions, and visual impact that make a sculpture work.

Whether you are developing a collectible head, a display bust, or a custom figure, the first step is a clear conversation about references, scale, finish, and practical constraints.

A clear process

From first idea to finished form.

Custom work becomes simpler when the details are clear up front. Here is the starting point for every enquiry.

01

Share the brief

Send reference links, the intended scale, quantity, finish expectations, and any delivery deadline. A rough idea is enough to begin.

02

Confirm scope

We align on feasibility, deliverables, timeline, price, and what is included before any work or payment begins.

03

Make it tangible

Once the terms are agreed, the project moves into the agreed production process, with updates and approvals where applicable.

Technical clarity

Frequently asked questions.

Essential answers on scales, materials, neck joint compatibility, and commission workflows.

Which scales do you specialize in?

Our core expertise centers on 1:6 and 1:4 scale commissions. We also accommodate specialized display scales (such as 1:3, 1:12, or architectural bust fragments) upon individual technical review.

Are 1:6 heads compatible with standard figure bodies?

Yes. Every 1:6 custom portrait is engineered with an interior adapter socket calibrated for standard 12-inch collector neck pegs (compatible with Hot Toys, Damtoys, TBLeague/Phicen, and Worldbox bodies).

What printing technology and resins do you use?

We deploy industrial-grade 8K to 12K stereolithography (SLA/DLP) systems using ultra-low shrinkage photopolymer resins. Each piece is meticulously washed, UV-cured, and hand-sanded to prime surface quality.

What references should I provide for a commission?

Clear, un-distorted photographic references: ideally front view, 45-degree angle, side profile, and specific lighting or emotional expression cues. High-resolution reference ensures maximum likeness precision.

How does the digital approval milestone work?

Before physical slicing and printing, you receive 360-degree digital preview turnaround renders. Standard commissions include up to two rounds of refined facial or anatomical adjustments prior to physical manufacturing.

What are the production lead times and shipping?

Digital sculpt review is typically delivered within 7 to 10 business days. Following your approval, 3D printing, hand-finishing, and quality control take approximately 1 to 2 weeks. All shipments are tracked and insured worldwide.
